Wed. the 25th.

I just watched the special.

It seemed like the interview was really choppy for the first half hour or so (like it was heavily edited). Not sure what was up with that.

I have to give Dianne credit, though: she seemed to be asking intelligent questions, rather than blindly agreeing with or attacking him.

Also, the one Rabi (Foxman, was it?) had some intelligent comments. Specifically, he stated he believes the movie is NOT anti-semitic, and he believes Mel Gibson is NOT anti-semitic, but that the movie MAY create a POTENTIAL for an adverse reaction to Jews.

That is true - it may do that. But at least he views it with realism, rather than with blind animosity.

I just hope that people go in to see the movie with an open heart and an open mind. Because, while I obviously haven't seen it, I am in agreement with the message Mel Gibson says the movie is meant to portray - that of the Gospels. If he truly did portray the Gospel message in literal terms, than I am behind the movie 100%.
