Ryan - Don't take this as me being malicious or anything at all, or even that what you said hurt my feelings in any way at all.....But I never asked for anyone to feel sorry for me.

I was just stating the suckiness of it.

Now however, after spending the weekend sitting in a chair from 6 AM till 9pm both saturday and sunday.... listening to the instructor talk....I wish that I could've gotten, or had the foresight, to gather all the information I now have BEFORE I even started drinking....

Anyone can get a DUI, as was proven to me by the kinds of people that were there.

One was a retired SHERRIF.

All I ask is that noone looks at me like I was driving DRUNK.

Yes I was over the legal limit....was I drunk? no. did that matter at all? no. I blow a .09 I get treated the same way as someone that blows a .26.....

Will getting this DUI and going through this program make me quit drinking...no it won't....has it made me reflect on my choices, and look forward to my next choices...HELL YES.

This was the last thing that the instructor said to us before we left.

Two young boys in a village decided they would try and trick the wise man of the village. They climbed a tree and picked up a baby bird from it's nest, they carried it to the wise mans' hut. They knocked and he answered....one boy held the bird in his hand and asked the wise man if the bird was dead, or if the bird was alive.

The wise man thought to himself for a bit, decided that if he told the boy the bird was alive, the boy would crush it and show him a dead bird, if he told the boy it was a dead bird, the boy would simply hold out his hand and show him the live bird.

He pondered on this, then decided to give the boy this answer.

"The bird is in your hands."

then he said good luck.
