Nintendo's time as a console maker is done. Sega realized that and did the smart thing. Backed out. Now what do they do? Make great games. Nintendo is stuck in a set way of doing things because it worked so well in the past. They like doing things old school and are reluctant to get with the times. Think about it, they were last to leave the cartridge era, they're the last in the online era, and now they're the last in sales. Nintendo will never do something evolutionary, hardware-wise. Eventually they will dwindle out as will Sony in 10 years or so and Microsoft probably. I could be wrong, but history has proven that every great dynasty eventually falls. Whether it takes a few years, a decade, or centuries.
