Personally, I'm satisfied with my Gamecube considering I expected this from Nintendo. I fully enjoy it's first-party lineup, and the RE games. I myself like the fact that the games have spread out releases. This allows me not to have to much overcrowding on my game-buying queue. I'm just saying this merely works good for ME. Obviously the Cube would be a horrible choice for a first console. However, you kind of have to examine Nintendo's market which, admittedly is children. Parents don't really want to be buying new games every month, and I think that the delays work as a sort of window of time for the kid to get bored as hell with whatever game he has, and then put another 3-4 months into another lengthy Nintendo title. In any case to reiterate, as a second system, to my Ps2 nonetheless, it couldn't be better for myself.

I have the same feelings as well Lazer. I thought it was one of the best deliverings of a thought-provoking, explorative, and all around fun game. Pretty damn awesome for a first game from Retro Studios.
