First Sony piz-owned the living BeJesus out of the Nintendo 64, and now the Xbox is taking a crap all over the Nintendo GameCube's sales. For the second consecutive time, Nintendo is reminded that their console products are no longer welcome in the market. Though somehow Nintendo feels assured that their system is still a success, which it isn't. The GameCube is a failure in my eyes, and even worse than the N64 was. Nintendo has lost Rare, their 3rd party support is quickly dwindling down significantly (Sega Sports games axed, four titles cancelled in less than a month), and worst of all, Nintendo's 1st party efforts are severly lacking.
1) Super Smash Bros. - Great game
2) Pikmin - Couldn't stand it
3) Eternal Darkness - Played it half way, never touched it again
4) Super Mario Sunshine - WTF HAPPENED?!
5) Metroid Prime - Most overrated game EVER!
6) Star Fox Adventures - UGH! Worst pacing in a Nintendo game ever.
The only reason I still have my GC is because I play Zelda: Ocarine of Time on it, and I'm waiting for Zelda: TWW. As far as next-gen consoles go, I'm FAR more happy with my Xbox than I am with my GameCube. ...Come to think of it, I'm far more happy with my Dreamcast than my GameCube.
