as explained in other posts, your console isn't really your console. And the games you buy.. they're not really yours.
in a way we rent from Sony, M$ etc....
Sony, Nintendo and M$ etc.. will not allow you to put chips inside their machine. it is illegal.
But saying that there isn't anyway they will find out.. not unless you drop it down the stairs and then send it back to Sony asking them to repair it, only to find its been chipped.
there are disclaimers that nothing from the Sony corp is to be messed around with, copied, resold.. blah blah blah...
so yeh, its illegal.
but what you do with it is your call. I know of so many people who have ****ed their machine with chips, and a few who did manage to put chips in, but now the chip is so old.. new games don't work.
if you buy the machine who's country you want games from.. buy an imported machine. if you want cheap games that you can buy for $2 over the internet.. then get a better job..
