Survival horror is a close second....it would be first if someone would get off there ass and make a decent friday the 13th game for PS2.
My idea is like taking the squad based tactical game engine and applying it to camp crystal lake. So you are in control of each person at different points in the game. With Jason stalking you through the camp.
And as you go, people get killed or survive all according to you, and then, the final person alive, or persons....kills jason in some unique way...but he doesn't ever die.
He keeps coming back, just as soon as a new group of teens manage to come to the camp, he wakes up, and the game starts all over again. And endless survival horror game based around Jason Voorhees.
They could make a Nightmare On Elm Street one the same exact way too.....
