The last games I (my brothers and I) purchased was my recent batch of games from the EA plant. Those include Def Jam Vendetta, NBA Street Vol. 2, NCAA Football 2004, and MVP Baseball.
Out of those games, I would probably say that NBA Street Vol. 2 and MVP are my favourite. NBA Street Vol. 2 (which I haven't played for a while come to think of it) has a whole lot more depth than the previous title. There are quite a few modes, new moves, and many other aspects to keep you busy. The "Be A Baller" mode kept me busy for QUITE some time as it is. I still have yet to touch the other parts of the game.
MVP seems to be a lot more improved over EA's previous attempts at a baseball title. The reason I say attempt is because their previous baseball games just seemed too boring and not too difficult. MVP on the other hand, has more depth to it as well, although I've barely scraped the surface of that myself. I find the new pitching scheme far more effective, and challenging and entertaining at the same time.
NCAA Football 2004 is a really fun game, I just haven't played enough to get a good feel for the game. My brother Lucas (lue) has played it way more than me, I think around two seasons, and he hasn't even gone online with the game yet. He also plays Def Jam a lot more than I do, I just don't find it particularily interesting, despite some of the good reviews it received from various websites/magazines.
I plan on picking a LARGE SUM of games this fall and winter however, so expect my list to expand by quite a bit.
