Maybe so, but I think not pitting was a good idea. Think back... Montreal... ugh... Plus with his dominant lap times, I feel he might have saved himself. It would have depended obviously on where he exited from the pit, but why risk losing alot of position or a wreck (again!) for it? Granted Kimi, Massa, Kubica were slower, but who says he'd have gotten around them if he was forced to. Massa was a bit of a fight, Piquet didn't even look like he tried to defend his spot!
I imagine there are other easier scenarios, but what he did was just amazing to watch, atleast it was for me.
Dunno what's up with Kimi, and although not a really a fan of the guy, he's a top contender, and without those guys, watching Lewis (whom obviously I like, just think he's energetic and charismatic about it) win without some kind of challenge would feel kinda silly! Sure, I want Lewis to win, but I want my heart to skip a few beats in the process!
On that note, I'd really like to see Kubica get back into gear!
and yes... I feel like odd at times because everyone seems to like Ferrari! Course, some of you guys seem to have actual ties of sorts with some of the drivers O.O
