...So Thursday I get a FedEx package in the mail. It's a letter from bestbuy regarding they tried to call me on Jan 12th with my cell phone number (Which I haven't had in almost 1 year). Of course my last name was wrong, home address but my postal code was correct.

Of course when I brought it in I told the guy my home number and he even wrote on the box and on the computer.

So I go in, show the FedEx package to the woman there. I had to hold my anger in cause I was pissed. I asked her what number she had on my file, and it was the Cell number. So she goes in the back to try to find it. Took 20 minutes cause she couldn't find it.....

She comes back, and there's a letter from Microsoft with it:

"This unit couldn't be fixed" lol...

So she tells me to get a new one and she will remvoe the HD and there we go.....I then ask her why didn't she call my other number and she couldn't give me an answer. I could have asked to speak with a manager but I was in a rush.

So, the unit took 6 days (Guy said min 2 weeks to 90 days) and If I didn't pick up the unit 5 days later they would have "disposed" of it....

The good news off all this. I got a newer hardware model with the HDMI imput in the back. I think that the new SKU have a better disc and fans to run cooler and not make much noise. Of course the new controller is sweet also. I think I should have tried to get a store credit or something. The downside is now I have to figure out how to get another $79.00 in under 30 days in order to put another warrenty on it. I would rather have that than nada and have to send it to MS myself.

Sorry for the novel, but Bestbuy can still kiss my ass.....but I'm back in the 21st century.
