Yes this is very interesting, I guess the Nintendo DS system appeal to a lot of the 'casual' players.
Wii is also good with the casual players, they just have problem to produce enough consoles. 1.8 million units a month I have heard, and I just read that they had to remove their Wii ads spots, because they want to focus on get the Wii out there.
So they have given the ad space they bought to promote the DS system, so Nintendo is in the lead at moment.
The PS3 and X360 is more suited for the hardcore or adult generation of gamers.
