Despite the title of your topic, Ricky, you clearly are stepping on people's toes...mine, to be more specific.

None of what you say - outside of the XN comments, which I will address shortly - has any validity whatsoever. We are one of the harshest-scoring sites on the 'Net when it comes to PS2/PSP/PS3 reviews, and you can check that out for yourself at either GameRankings or Metacritic. Our scores are frequently at or below the critic average for most titles we review. That's first.

Second, we post ALL of the most important Sony-related news. During the first few months of the PS3 launch, we had every dire and black-hearted PS3-related news story on the planet, because they were current. At this particular time, there are many analysts stepping up and saying "the PS3 will overcome," so we are reporting on that. NOBODY is singing the same tune they were singing earlier this year, which was predictions of doom and gloom for the PS3. The developers are very excited about finally getting a handle on the technology, the games are right around the corner (some are already here; i.e., Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, MotorStorm, etc.), and sales are rising.

Why is there a lot of positive Sony news on this site over the past few months? Simple. Because there has been a lot of positive Sony news out there. It was the exact opposite during the first part of the year, and if you need proof, I can point you in numerous directions, because I wrote those stories.

Now, as for XN, I'm aware of the lack of content, but there are reasons for that: as the site doesn't bring in much traffic at all, Val doesn't want us to spend too much time there. He's happy with just some news updates every day, and I also add in previews I do for PSXE that are multiplatform titles. But beyond that, Arnold and I don't time to provide full content for both PSXE and XN, and we really can't anyway, considering how much smaller XN is (traffic-wise). We've been talking about merging the two sites for potentially greater exposure overall, but that'll be up to Val. Personally, I like the idea...even if it will be more work.

But anyway, to sum up, you clearly don't know our site at all, Ricky. And you also don't seem to be keeping up on the current news. This isn't January. It's October, and the "OMG, PS3 is teh dead!" stories are long gone. We report on everything Sony-related that is current, REGARDLESS of whether it's negative or positive. I work very hard to do that on a daily basis. Period.
