The crazy thing is I haven't had one issue yet. It might be cause I left that sucker on Final Fantasy XI for 2 months straight (of course swapping out other games) but it was on 24/7 running, and never once a power down. My guess is that I cooked it enough so it won't overheat.

There's no worries in my mind cause I have a Best Buy 3 year no hassle, go to the store and get a new one if something goes wrong with it.

What kind of warranty you have on it shirt? Where is it placed, what room, close to any other electronics? Maybe in a av case or something.
First of all, the problems with the 360s don't have anything to do with how people take care of them, nor is it an overheating problem. They were all made with the potential for a colossal system failure to happen; that can occur regardless of how well you keep your system. The "three red rings of death" isn't avoidable in any way, unfortunately. If you get lucky, you get lucky.

As for the PS3, all of them have 1-year manufacturer warranties. And considering it hasn't been a year since the launch, his is still covered. Sony has to replace it if it's overheating (and it seems to be doing that).
