And the xbox's gpu was stronger than the ps2's, the 64's GPU and Saturn's CPUs were both better than the ps1's... big deal. Those details don't matter the consumers directly in the end, because we're dealing with closed platforms here. They're just used as cockwaving when there's nothing else to fall back to in arguments, and are pure fanboy fuels. Much like what our friend at ubisoft did here.
Furthermore, your new claims also don't make it dated. It just makes it less advanced (and less specialized) than a 1 year old CPU.
There's a reason why you don't hear stupid claims like that in the end of a generation. In the end it's the platforms, its features, and games that matter. Not the percentage of extra power a certain console has over its rivals.
Hence my initial statement in this thread.
