It could be argued that Halo, an Xbox launch title, had better AI than Double Agent. But my point remains. If he didn't work on Double Agent, you really can't use it as a comparison, because a) he didn't work on it and b) it was using their last-gen framework. However, his credibility is indeed questionable, seeing as that he's working on a game that is going to appear on a single platform. That, and the fact that Assassin Creed (which shares frameworks with Conviction) is going to come out on the ps3 as well.
As far as I know (and I'm not an expert on this), AI uses very basic CPU logic (only lots of them) - so I don't think it should be much of a problem on any platform. Expect AI showcases on all platforms (well except maybe the Wii). I don't doubt that the AI in Halo 3 and MGS4 will floor us.
