you can play regular dvd's in 1080p with the newer regular dvd players. So why pay 500-1000 bucks for a player and 30 dollars for a blu ray or hd dvd when you can have same picture qaulity on a standard dvd? The only advantage I see is more space on a hd or blu. But movies do not require more space. Not even games at this time. I mean oblivion is less than 5gb and is a massive game.you can fit 9 gb on a standard dvd. Any one else feeling scammed/brain washed into buying useless tech?
