1366 x 768 = 720p native.
Your TV is upscaling to 1080p, which means it's basicall faking it. You have a 720p display. Likewise, games like Resistance are rendered to run no higher than 720p -- take a look at the box. I believe Blu-Ray movies require true 1080p display in order to run in 1080p, otherwise they'll only run in 1080i.
