Default 10 most important video games..

Well I just read this (http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/939.html) article on the site, and personally don't agree with the list entirely. Surely the Final Fantasy series should be included? I know it isn't everyones cup of tea, but these games (especially games such as VI, VII and X) have paved the way to introduce many, many gamers to RPGS, as well as influencing a hell of a lot of developers. But maybe thats just me thinking this.

Anyway in response to the article, I thought I'd come up with a list myself, and see what everyone else's ten most important games are (with reasons if you wish). I'm gunna post the ten most important games from a personal stand point, rather than get into a debate about which games are literally the most important.

1. Final Fantasy VII- the game that REALLY got me into gaming, and a title that still has a massive spot in my heart.
2. Metal Gear Solid- I may think the 3rd installment is a better game, but the first one got me into the serious and helped me appreciate games that really made you think when trying to find a solution to a mission/task.
3. Sonic 2- probably the first game I can remember playing.
4. Toejam and Earl- the first game that I can remember playing co-op multiplayer.
5. Tekken 3- played this game for hours on end when I was about 9 or 10.
6. Sonic 3 & Knuckles- my favourite platformer game, they just don't make them like they used to *sniff*.
7. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2- my favourite 2D fighter franchise (Street Fighter), combined with pretty much all of my favourite heroes/villians.
8. Football Manager 2005/2006/2007- helped develop my knowledge of the beautiful game as well as appreciate it more.
9. Devil May Cry 1/3- best game to play if you want some mindless fun/violence.
10. Sonic Adventure- it might seem like I'm a Sonic fan boy, and I must admit I am pretty partial to a good Sonic session if I'm in the mood, but I used to play this for hours with my best mate and brother.

Note: these aren't exactly my ten favourite games (or games that I think are structurally the best), just ten games that have changed or influenced the way I percieve games to this day
