I'm still trying to work out how to use the quickenings. Something to do with pressing R2 until you get a button sybmbol on the screen then you select it, rinse and repeat.
The only way I think to reduce the duration of your action timer is to buy the 'reduce action time by x%' licences.
I spent ages in the mines killing skeletons and got over 100 chained kills
