I know what you mean AK, about Wii not being Next Gen.. but in the way that Next Gen is something that hasn’t been done before, I think it is.

Though by me saying that, I’ve made it redundant as all that the Wii is, is a Nintendo Eye-toy, but a rather special one at that.

I think there is enough of a market for the Wiimote and the Eyetoy with the Sixaxis too. These can only develop in to something quite magical in the next few years.

I don’t know if you were joking DK about the coconuts, but why couldn’t you put a lightweight sensor in to a foam ball?

Remember that lame laser quest game you could buy and play at home? was never as good as going to those places and strapping on that equipment and running around in the dark, almost playing the part of some Sci-Fi war film.. you felt like the bloody Terminator at times, well.. Imagine a FPS game that made you feel like that?

no reason why that wouldn’t happen..

lol... I hope that the Wii really manipulates the Wiimote and uses it to its full potential! I’ve seen the movies for the Eyetoy and the PS3.. I’ve seen what it can do, I’ve also seen the promo Eyetoy vid for PSW mag.. and its like something out of minority report, we joked that it would be like that when it first came out, and now it looks like its a huge possibility.

But what of the Wii.. Does anyone know? How could the wiimote be used and in what? Could the Wiimote be used in a Final Fantasy game? If so.. Could it last 100 hours? As Gabe pointed out, GTA would be a nightmare! Lol but they are bringing Manhunt to the Wii.. and so that will be really interesting!

I have no idea how they will do it. But if they can do that, then maybe they can do GTA?
