Not really, I wasn't really allowed to play games like GTA and Resident Evil till I was about 12, as my folks (even though they are pretty young) weren't sure what to make of them. But since it hasn't affected me and they trust my judgement with the games, they pretty much let me decide what my 11 year old brother can and can't play and from personal opinion there's not a lot I'd stop him from playing. I think the swearing and violence in games like GTA would be a bit OTT, and I wouldn't let him play Gears Of War or Res Evil at night by himself, but thats about it.
